Hi, I'm Calvin
I'm a computer science student at SDSU with a passion for cloud computing and cybersecurity. I'm currently pursuing AWS Cloud and CompTIA Security+ certifications to strengthen my technical foundation and build a career in securing and optimizing cloud environments.
I enjoy solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and applying hands-on skills to real-world infrastructure challenges. In terms of leadership, I've held executive roles in SDSU's AI Club and Sanskriti Club organizations, working towards the benefit of our members and organization as a whole.
Outside of tech, you'll catch me hooping, working out, traveling with family, or mentoring students through programs like MLT, NSBE, and STEM Advantage. I'm especially passionate about helping first-gen and underrepresented students break into tech — because I've been there.

Here are some of my recent works. Each project represents a unique challenge and learning experience.
AWS serverless backend that ingests transactions, applies rules-based categorization, and exposes analytics via REST. Secured with Cognito JWT and API Gateway authorizer; infra managed with Terraform.
Personal site on S3 + CloudFront + Route 53 with a Lambda/DynamoDB visitor counter and CI/CD via GitHub Actions + Terraform for repeatable, zero-downtime deploys.
Serverless URL shortener on AWS: create short links (custom aliases), edge redirects via CloudFront, and DynamoDB click analytics. CDK infra; CloudWatch/X-Ray.
